Grab a cuppa, because we need to talk about skincare. You already know I’ve been a massive fan of NUXE for years; their classic dry oil practically lives rent-free on my bedside table. But when their brand-new Prodigieuse® [HYALU] BOOST collection landed on my desk, I got genuinely giddy. Usually with a new beauty drop, there’s maybe one hero bottle you want to pinch and a couple of fillers you pass on to your team. Not this time. Every single product in this four-piece lineup was something I immediately wanted to slather all over my face (okay, and body).

The whole premise behind the range is effortless, bounce-back hydration. NUXE paired low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (which sinks deep to smooth fine lines) with high molecular weight polyglutamic acid. If you haven’t met polyglutamic acid yet, it holds up to 5,000 times its weight in water and locks everything in at the surface so moisture cannot escape.

Here is what went down when I put the routine to the test.

The Eye Stick That Feels Like an Actual Ice Cube

Let’s start with the one product I didn’t know I needed until two seconds after trying it: The Reviving Eye Stick ($48.90 for 8.5g).

If you are prone to morning puffiness or screen fatigue, this twist-up stick is pure witchcraft. The minute you swipe it across your orbital bone, it feels intensely cool and almost wet under the eyes (to the point where you instinctively check your fingers expecting excess liquid) yet there isn’t any. It leaves zero greasy film, just an instant hit of awake. It’s fragrance-free and loaded with 1% caffeine and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Keep it by your desk or pop it in your handbag for an afternoon reset (and it won’t mess your makeup).

The Serums: Plump, Scented Heaven

Next up are the two serums, and I genuinely cannot pick a favourite since I am obsessed with them both.

First is The Illuminating Concentrate ($63.90 for 30ml), which is essentially your shortcut to looking like you drink three litres of water a day. It’s laced with micro-fine, natural-origin pink pearly pigments that give an instant, healthy flush without looking glittery. Then there is The Anti-Dark Spot Glow Serum ($63.90 for 30ml), formulated with 5% stabilised vitamin C and ginseng ferment to tackle stubborn post-blemish marks and dullness (and is one of the few vitamin C products that I can use without any adverse reaction).

What surprised me most about both formulas is how dreamily they apply. The serums absorb so well into the skin without a trace of stickiness, and they smell so good, an uplifting blend of lychee, jasmine, and musk that feels like a treat every morning. Better yet, they leave your complexion looking outrageously hydrated, supple, and plumped before you’ve even reached for moisturiser.

The Lightweight Seal: Smoothing Glow Gel-Cream

To lock the goodness in, there is the Smoothing Glow Gel-Cream ($61.90 for 50ml). Finding a moisturiser that delivers genuine, eight-hour hydration without suffocating normal or combination skin in humid weather is notoriously tricky. This one has a fresh, melting gel texture packed with ginseng ferment and that signature hydrating duo. It gives a cushiony, velvety finish that sits seamlessly underneath sunscreen and makeup, without any pilling.

The Verdict

Whether you fancy mixing a drop of the Illuminating Concentrate into your daily moisturiser or simply swiping on the eye stick before running out the door, the beauty of this range is how intuitive it is to dip in and out of.

If your skin barrier is craving a reset or you just want that supple glass-skin bounce back, the entire NUXE Prodigieuse® [HYALU] BOOST collection is available exclusively in Singapore at Guardian. Your complexion will thank you.
