Tampines is leaning into the October spirit this year with a playful, glow-in-the-dark spin on Halloween festivities. Running through 12 November 2026, Century Square’s annual Halloween Scaretacular brings together luminous puzzle-solving, hands-on potion crafts, and high-stakes costume runway moments tailored for families and young trick-or-treaters.

Here is what you can look forward to at the East-side mall this season. Taking over the Level 1 Atrium from until 1 November, Ready, Set, Escape! Trade jump scares for vibrant, ultraviolet problem-solving. Participants step into an illuminated labyrinth designed to challenge observational skills in a family-friendly setting.

  • Opening Hours: 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm (26–30 October & 1 November); 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Halloween evening (31 October).
  • How to Enter: Shoppers can redeem entry with a minimum spend of $50 across a maximum of two same−day receipts (minimum $20 per receipt) at participating Frasers Experience (FRx) stores. Alternatively, entry passes can be purchased for $8 each at the Level 3 Concierge.

Stir Up Magic at Complimentary Potion Workshops

For children drawn to spellcraft and alchemy, Magic in the Making offers a hands-on introduction to wizardry. Taking place at the Level 1 Atrium on 31 October and 1 November (10:00 am – 12:00 pm), the workshop invites budding witches and wizards to concoct their own mystical brews.

The sessions are complimentary and operate strictly on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis, capped at 100 participants per day.

Over S$4,000 in Prizes: The Annual Best-Dressed Contest

The centrepiece of the mall’s celebrations unfolds on Saturday, 31 October, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, when young fashion visionaries take to the stage in full costume regalia. Spanning two age tiers—1 to 7 years old and 8 to 12 years old—the competition offers more than $4,000 worth of prizes across categories:

  • 1st Prize: Worth up to $450
  • 2nd Prize: Worth up to $250
  • 3rd Prize: Worth up to $150

Entry requires a minimum single-receipt spend of $20 at participating stores. (past winners are excluded to keep the playing field open to new faces, visit the website or speak to the concierge for more information).

Take-Home Spooky Night Lights

Shoppers can take home a keepsake via the A Boo-tiful Companion promotion. Spending a minimum of $120 across up to three same−day transactions (minimum 420 per transaction) qualifies you for an illuminated, ghost-themed character night light.
