The Dolce&Gabbana Beauty My Devotion pop-up at Ngee Ann City marks the launch of the brand’s newest fragrance, My Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense. Running until 21 September, the Orchard showcase invites visitors to discover the scent firsthand, alongside exclusive touches such as complimentary hand massages and bottle charm personalisation with any purchase of the new fragrance.
When I tried the fragrance for myself, I found it to be sweet yet never overpowering, the kind of perfume that lingers gently on the skin, leaving behind a soft, feminine trail. It felt like an intimate scent, one that becomes part of you rather than something that walks into the room before you do.
Created by Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp, My Devotion Eau de Parfum Intense is a luminous floral gourmand that balances lightness with depth. It opens with the airy elegance of pear blossom, lifted by juicy cassis for a delicate fruity sparkle. At its heart, peony and orange blossom weave together into a radiant floral bouquet, before settling into a base of indulgent Madagascar vanilla, warm ambrox, and refined ambery woods. The result is a fragrance that feels comfortingly gourmand yet elegantly sophisticated.
The bottle itself is just as exquisite as the fragrance it holds. Glossy light pink lacquered glass, a matching cap, and Dolce&Gabbana’s iconic gold Sacred Heart make it a collector’s piece in its own right.
