More brands are moving towards sustainability and fashion platform  Pomelo is no different. The brand recently expanded its sustainable label, Purpose by Pomelo with two new collections.

The new collections have been thoughtfully crafted from sustainable materials, including Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton and Tencel, which are natural, renewable and less harmful to the environment.

Pomelo’s first Purpose collection of the year is consciously designed using Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton, which strives to minimise the environmental footprint of cotton production. The selection features linen dresses and airy tops in soft earth tones of green, yellow, beige and pink.

For its second collection which launched this month, Pomelo introduced Tencel, a sustainable fabric regenerated from wood cellulose, into the mix for the first time.

In keeping with the neutral colour palette, the latest range will showcase gingham prints in varying shades of sky blue and beige, with cheerful accents of lime green and yellow.

Purpose by Pomelo collections are available on the Pomelo iOS and Android apps, and on their website.
