This Halloween, gather all your drink buddies and descend into a night of trickery at Heart of Darkness.
Craft brewery, Heart of Darkness, has launched its inaugural scare event for Halloween, Nightmare in Tanjong Pagar. The taproom at Heart of Darkness, will be transformed into a haunted house with an assortment of dark beers on tap.
For the first time ever, Heart of Darkness will collaborate with other popular bars in the neighbourhood, including NINETEEN80, Monarchy, Jekyll & Hyde, and Junior “The PocketBar”, amongst others for a night of boozing fun!
Enjoy An Assortment Of Dark Beers On Tap This Halloween
For stout and caffeine lovers, try the Excited Magpie Dry Stout. Heart of Darkness added a whole lot of coffee beans to their favourite stout to boost its coffee flavour and aroma. The bitterness of the roasty coffee aroma balances well with hints of creamy chocolate, giving this beer its extremely unique taste.
Another dark beer to look out for is the Eloquent Phantom Imperial Stout, the biggest and hoppiest beer in the repertoire made up of four hops, three malts, two sugars, two spirits, one spice, and one wood. This is an extremely rich and full-bodied brew, lifted by the judicious use of American spirits and Madagascan spice. Oak conditioning further adds another layer of complexity. This beer is best paired with roast meats, rich desserts, or dark chocolate.
Nightmare In Tanjong Pagar
From 31 October 2019 – 2 November 2019, Monarchy, Jekyll & Hyde, Junior “The PocketBar”, SG Taps, AngKor Wat, Freehouse, and 3rd Culture Brewing Co. will feature an assortment of Heart of Darkness beers on tap; or incorporate craft beers from Heart of Darkness into their unique cocktail concoctions. For sandwich lovers, Park Bench Deli will also be creating a special HOD sandwich, served alongside the Futile Purpose Cucumber Pilsner. Trick or treat your way through Tanjong Pagar this Halloween and have a spooktacular time! Nightmare in Tanjong Pagar runs from 26 October to 2 November 2019.
There are 100 door prizes worth over S$1,500 up for grabs at Heart of Darkness. Guests joining in the Halloween celebration in Nightmare at Tanjong Pagar also stand a chance to win a Heart of Darkness T-shirt through a social media contest.
All you have to do is post photos of you at all 10 bars, hashtag #NightmareInTanjongPagar, and tag the bars on Instagram, between 26 October and 2 November 2019. This spooktacular event promises a frightfull week-long fun bloc party.
