KrisShop, Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) flagship travel retailer, announced its official brand revamp with the launch of its new website held at the newly-restored Raffles Hotel last week. 

The rebranded KrisShop aims to improve the overall shopping experience for both travellers and non-travellers. 

The changes were announced in response to the radical disruption driven by digitalisation of the travel retail industry in the recent years. KrisShop hopes to deliver an integrated shopping experience that engages its customers at every step of the journey – both online and offline. 

Aims To Appeal To Non-Travelers Too also aims to re-invent itself as the go-to lifestyle e-commerce website that caters to the needs of travelers and non-travelers alike. After the facelift, now sports a cleaner look with a brand new interface that includes intuitive features for a swift and smooth navigation. 

New Initiatives

KrisShop has also taken the opportunity to introduce multiple new initiatives for convenient payment, pre-order and delivery services.

Tapping on new technological and logistics capabilities, consumers can look forward to the following initiatives that will be rolled-out in several phases over the next few months: 

•       Multiple Payment Options

New payment options including KrisPay, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Alipay, will be available on for added flexibility and to cater to the different payment preferences of customers. 

•       Pre-Order Up To 60 Mins Before A Flight

Previously, travelers were able to pre-order but only 24 hours before their flight. Now, you can do last minute shopping on KrisShop, even if it’s just 60 minutes before your selected SilkAir, Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights. Your purchase will be delivered straight to your seat.

•       Hotel Delivery

In collaboration with selected hotel groups, hotel guests can also opt for their purchases to be delivered to their rooms. 

•       Shop With Your In-Flight Entertainment

Something to look forward the next time you are onboard a SIA flight. Passengers can soon shop on via Singapore Airlines’ in-flight entertainment system, and have their parcels delivered to their doorstep. 

•       Self-Collection At Designated POPStations

You can now also opt to collect your KrisShop purchases at designated POPStations. The newly added self-collection method is hassle-free and marks the seamless convergence of online and offline consumer experience. 

Experiencing The New KrisShop at the Pop-up Exhibition 

In celebration of the new was a pop-up exhibition that showcased the different retail feature of the website.

The exhibition brought to life the new website through a series of visually-exciting installations that features a myriad of existing and new initiatives by KrisShop, mirroring the shopping experience on as guests toured through the different touchpoints. 

•  With Love, SG: 

Highlights homegrown brands that reflect our unique Singaporean culture. With Love, SG is all about supporting local, so tourists can bring home a little representation of the local culture along with them when they return home. Locals will also be able to find meaningful gifts among the labels.

       KrisShop Cares:

In collaboration with The Art Faculty and Tinkle Arts, KrisShop Cares is dedicated to giving back to the community and supporting those in need. Net proceeds from the curated products and artworks will go towards the partner communities to support their cause and artists. 

•       KrisShop Discovers: 

KrisShop Discovers houses niche creations curated by KrisShop. With each piece imbued with the rich heritage and personal stories of fine artisans around the world, this concept store takes guests on a global adventure to discover new and authentic products. 

•       KrisShop Moments:

KrisShop Moments is a brand-new concept store that offers customers a range of services including floral delivery, beauty and wellness treatments, special hotel room offers, hotel dining promotions, tourist experiences and more, designed to inspire people to create their very own special moments.

KrisShop Customise

Media guests were also offered a sneak peak into the new brands, airline exclusives and KrisShop Customise collections at the launch. 

With the increased demand for a personalised and seamless shopping experience, KrisShop Customise offers customization services such as personalised engraving on fragrance bottles, wine bottles, and leather bags – adding a special touch to the perfect gift.
