Join ASD and their furry pack for an evening of good music and company on the 18th August at JAZZ FOR DOGS.

It will be an evening packed with an impressive line up of some of the most talented jazz artistes in Singapore – Anne Weerapass, Carol Gomez, Lily Hargrove, Rob Collins, Skye Sirena, Aaron Lee’s Jazz Quartet, the MGS Guitar Ensemble and The Raindogs.

JAZZ FOR DOGS is a unique musical evening of jazz and a main fund-raising event organised by Action for Singapore Dogs Society’s (ASD). JAZZ FOR DOGS was first held in 2017 and attracted an audience of over 1800 people and at least 300 dogs. This year, ASD hopes to beat its previous record by aiming to have an attendance of 2000 people and 400 dogs at the concert.

Admission is free for all whether you are an fur-mum or pop or simply love dogs and jazz. Everyone is welcome!

To complete the JAZZ FOR DOGS (JFD) experience, attendees are encouraged to order the JFD picnic basket worth $200 at only $88 nett. The picnic basket, which is good for two, is packed with delectable goodies for both humans and dogs, including a limited edition picnic mat.

The food and drink items include wine, cookies, sandwiches, muffins and a selection of finger food. Human grade home cooked meals with the option of pork or beef from Furry’s Kitchen can also be ordered at only $10 per portion. Orders can be made here. You are encouraged to order in advance to avoid disappointment!

If you are unable to attend but still want to support this worthy cause, you can donate using Pay Now to UEN T02SS0132E or online here.

ASD’s goal this year is to raise $100,000 to support its Trap-Neuter-Release-Manage (TNRM) efforts. The five-year nationwide TNRM programme was launched in November 2018 to humanely reduce the stray dog population. To date, close to 150 strays have been trapped and released or rehomed. The expenditure for each TNRM dog can amount to $350 or more, mainly on transportation, trapping equipment, and medical treatment and boarding for sick or injured dogs.

Show some love and help spread the word, donate and most importantly, join ASD and their pups for this very worthy cause!

At Lifestyle Collective, we love dogs and all animals and creatures, big or small. This article is dedicated in memory of Cocoa, a beautiful red Singapore special adopted many years ago from ASD.
