VivoCity is marking its 20th anniversary this Mid-Autumn season with a grand, illuminated takeover of its Sky Park. From 25 August to 27 September 2026, the Sanrio characters Moonlit Garden welcomes visitors to wander through a glowing open-air haven featuring six themed installations, carnival attractions, and character appearances.

As evening sets in, the rooftop garden is bathed in the glow of thousands of shimmering lights, blending cherished festive traditions with the playful world of Sanrio. Guests of all ages can stroll along lantern-lit trails against panoramic views of the southern waterfront, uncovering larger-than-life character centrepieces, vibrant photo opportunities, and family-friendly activities designed to celebrate the season of reunion

Six Immersive Zones at Sky Park

  • Moonlit Garden Gateway: The trail begins under an illuminated harvest moon backdrop where Hello Kitty and friends welcome guests.
  • Kuromi Carnival Kingdom: Operating daily from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, this lively hub features a 5-metre Kuromi inflatable, six game booths ($10/game), and a Mini Express Train ($10/ride, inclusive of an exclusive sticker pack).
  • Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove: A dreamy grove with a 5-metre-wide Cinnamoroll centrepiece, glowing floral arches, and a riddle challenge.
  • Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk: A connecting bridge draped in warm lantern light, flanked by Hello Kitty and My Melody inflatables.
  • Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden: A waterscape featuring floating lights, glowing lilies, and a 5-metre Hangyodon emerging from the water.
  • Pompompurin Mooncake Tea Party: The finale presents a 7-metre Pompompurin perched atop a giant mooncake set against the southern waterfront.

Meet & Greets and Retail Exclusives

Meet-and-greet sessions take place at North-West Boulevard (Level 1) on select dates: 29–30 August, 5–6 September, and 19 September 2026. Spend a minimum of $80 in a single receipt to redeem a pass (limited to the first 30 redemptions per session).

Visitors can shop the dedicated Sanrio Retail Pop-Up at East Court (Level 1, 10:00 am to 10:00 pm) or explore festive finds from tenants like Fragrance, Goldheart, OWNDAYS, Crocs, and UNIQLO.

Festive Treats and VC20 Highlights

The annual TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair returns to Central Court (Level 1) through 25 September 2026, offering traditional and snowskin mooncakes alongside gourmet teas from nearly 50 brands.

Shoppers can also participate in VC20 anniversary specials, including weekend Ding Ding Candy giveaways at Lobby L, Level 3 (7:00 pm–9:00 pm, first 300 shoppers), the fast-paced VC20 Mooncake Challenge, and exclusive gift redemptions such as the limited-edition VC20 x The Art Faculty thermal bottle.
