The humble graphic tee has evolved far beyond casual loungewear; today, it stands as a canvas for genuine self-expression. Leading this cultural charge is global apparel giant UNIQLO, which is set to transform the retail landscape in Singapore this month. From 12 to 21 June 2026, the Orchard Central Level 1 Atrium will morph into a vibrant sanctuary for pop-culture enthusiasts with the arrival of the UT Graphic T-Universe Pop-Up.

Free to the public, this limited-time interactive experience celebrates the brand’s celebrated UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) line. Visitors will be treated to a curated journey through the worlds of legendary contemporary art, nostalgic manga, and globally adored characters.

According to Paulene Ong, Marketing Director of UNIQLO Singapore, the event aims to bridge the gap between creativity and everyday fashion:

UT is UNIQLO’s way of bringing pop culture to life. Truly a world like no other, UT brings together art, creativity and global pop culture from around the world. As graphic T-shirts continue to grow as a form of self-expression, this pop-up creates a space for customers to explore, style and make these designs their own in a way that feels personal and relevant.”

The Lineup: From New York Pop Art to Shonen Jump

The pop-up is a masterclass in cultural curation, offering something for every aesthetic palette. Art aficionados can look forward to the NY POP ART UT collection, which revives iconic works by Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. For those drawn to historical depth, the Ukiyo-e Blue UT collection offers a stunning exploration of traditional Japanese woodblock prints, featuring the seminal visions of Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige.

Meanwhile, manga and anime devotees are being treated to a major milestone:

Disney enthusiasts won’t be left behind either, with ten exclusive Singapore-themed UTme! stickers and custom embroidery options launching on 12 June, alongside an exclusive sneak peek at the Disney Run race pack.

Beyond browsing the racks, UNIQLO is incentivising visitors with a host of limited-edition collectibles and interactive rewards.

In keeping with UNIQLO’s “LifeWear” philosophy—which champions high-quality, simple clothing designed to elevate daily life—the pop-up will also highlight global philanthropy.

Launching on 19 June, five fresh additions to the ongoing PEACE FOR ALL project will take center stage. The initiative, which channels profits into global peace efforts, features voluntary designs from influential creative figures. The latest drop includes poignant contributions from Academy Award-winning actor Ke Huy Quan, celebrated filmmaker Sofia Coppola, the Displacement Film Fund (DFF), alongside timeless illustrations from PEANUTS and Miffy creator Dick Bruna.

Whether you are looking to inject some high-art edge into your wardrobe, celebrate your favourite anime, or support a global cause, this pop-up promises a vibrant look at how fashion intersect with the things we love.
