Disney fans and lovers of all things cute are in for a sweet surprise this June. From 27 May to 28 June 2026, Allgreen Malls is launching Disney Dessert Besties, a delightful travelling pop-up experience. Bringing a heavy dose of nostalgia, the event reimagines classic characters like Mickey Mouse and Friends as adorable, dessert-inspired plush companions inside a vibrant, retro-themed diner setting.
The month-long tour will make stops across all four Allgreen Malls: Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, Tanglin Mall, and The Seletar Mall. While these sweet treats are strictly made of plush fabric rather than sugar, the interactive experience promises plenty of flavour.
Interactive ‘Preparation Stations’ and Exclusive Plushies
The highlight of the pop-up is the theatrical “preparation station”. On select weekends, shoppers who buy the Disney Dessert Besties bundle (a complete set of four) can watch the team “flip”, “whisk”, “bake”, or “serve” their chosen plushies at the interactive counters before taking them home.
The exclusive merchandise line-up features three distinct collections:
- Ice Cream Besties: A customisable range featuring six “flavours” including Mickey Chocolate and Donald Blue Cotton Candy, which can be mixed and matched with different cups or cones.
- Breakfast Mates: Playful interpretations of morning classics, starring the Mickey Waffle and Minnie Pancake.
- Bakery Favourites: A collection of snack-inspired plush toys themed around Mickey & Friends, which are “warmed up” fresh by the bakery booth staff.
Beyond the retail and preparation zones, the diner-inspired space is packed with vibrant backdrops perfect for social media photography.
Whimsical Craft Workshops
For those looking to get hands-on, the event features a unique workshop trail across the four locations. Each mall will host its own exclusive, dessert-themed craft activity, ranging from designing custom fridge magnets to assembling breakfast-themed straps.
Shoppers can secure a slot on the day by spending a minimum of $20 in a single receipt and presenting it at the respective mall’s workshop booth.
Limited-Edition Travel Rewards and Member Perks
Frequent travellers and Disney collectors can also redeem items from a four-piece Disney Dessert Besties Travel Essentials collection. Sporting a charming grid-pattern aesthetic, the range includes a foldable Plush Eco Bag, a two-piece Packing Cube set, a Cosy Neck Pillow, and a compact Cable Pouch.
The travel items can be redeemed by spending $150 (with a limit of two redemptions per member, per mall, per day; double spending is required for supermarket receipts). Due to limited stock, these are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with 250 redemptions per item allocated to Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, and The Seletar Mall, and 100 per item at Tanglin Mall.
Additionally, Great Rewards members who subscribe to the platform’s eDM and push notifications can head to the Great Rewards booth at 12pm or 5pm daily to claim a complimentary Disney and Pixar-themed ice cream. This sweet perk is limited to the first 100 daily redemptions per time slot at Great World, Pasir Ris Mall, and The Seletar Mall, and the first 50 daily redemptions at Tanglin Mall.
