UNIQLO continues its design-led evolution with the launch of the Spring/Summer 2026 UNIQLO : C collection, a special line conceived by British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller. Titled “Refined for the Everyday”, the new season explores how clothing can seamlessly adapt to modern life, balancing structure with softness to create pieces that feel as good as they look.
Drawing inspiration from the different rhythms of everyday living, the collection brings together refined tailoring and relaxed fabrics to form a wardrobe designed to move naturally with the wearer. It is a thoughtful approach to dressing that feels quietly polished yet never restrictive, aligning with UNIQLO’s philosophy of functional, elevated essentials.
According to Waight Keller, comfort was central to the design process. “For this collection, I wanted to focus on how clothes feel as much as how they look,” she shared. “Comfort comes through in the softness of the fabrics and the ease of the cuts, creating an urban wardrobe designed to move naturally through everyday life.” The result is a lineup that prioritises fluidity, versatility and wearability, while maintaining a refined, contemporary aesthetic.
A strong unisex spirit runs throughout the collection, with styling built around effortless layering and a harmonious colour palette. Subtle playfulness is woven into the designs, encouraging mix-and-match dressing and personal expression. These modern essentials are intended to work together intuitively, allowing wearers to build an urban chic wardrobe that adapts easily from day to night.
Colour and fabric take centre stage this season. Soft shades of powder lilac and sky blue introduce a sense of lightness and calm, while tailored pieces in coordinated tones are punctuated by a vivid red knit for contrast. The interplay of muted and bold hues adds quiet visual interest without overwhelming the silhouette.
In womenswear, some of the standout pieces we tried include the Cotton Volume Sleeve Dress, featuring softly structured shirt-style sleeves and a clip belt detail that allows for versatile styling. Seasonal fabrics such as satin sets, Milano ribbed knits and viscose knit T-shirts appear throughout the collection, enhancing breathability and comfort for the warmer months while maintaining a polished finish.
For the first time, the UNIQLO : C collection also introduces sunglasses as part of its accessories lineup. Designed with UV400 lenses that block 99% of ultraviolet rays, the sunglasses combine practical protection with thoughtful design, emphasising comfort and material quality. Footwear additions include retro-inspired sneakers and finely crafted deck shoes, offering a refined yet relaxed option suitable for both women and men. Completing the selection is an ultra-light, versatile tote that adds an effortless finishing touch to everyday looks.
Selected items from the UNIQLO : C Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be available for pre-order from 22 January to 5 February, ahead of the full launch on February 6. The complete lineup will be stocked at UNIQLO’s Jewel Changi Airport store, Orchard Central Global Flagship, ION Orchard, as well as online. A partial selection will also be available across all UNIQLO stores islandwide.
