Bluey’s Big Play was a delightful live adaptation of the cartoon that my kids first started watching during the pandemic. They managed to perfectly capture the show’s wholesome charm and humour that is Bluey and had my two kids squealing with laughter throughout. The puppeteers did an amazing job bringing the family to life – Bluey’s & Bingo’s excited jumps felt like they’d stepped right out of the TV!

I was initially worried that my 10-year-old daughter had outgrown her Bluey days, but she found the show delightful! Both she and her little brother were completely engaged. They were shouting out directions to Bandit (Bluey’s dad) and dancing along with Bluey as the show was quite interactive and encouraged the kids to participate throughout.

I often caught myself laughing out loud along with them. It’s the perfect live experience to introduce young children to the theatre. They especially loved the giant inflatable bit at the end – it had everyone jumping for joy!
