To commemorate the 15th anniversary of SEKKISEI’s Save the Blue initiative, KOSE Corporation has partnered with Disney to introduce a special SEKKISEI Save The Blue Disney limited-edition collection. This unique assortment showcases a delightful ensemble of Disney characters inspired by the ocean, including beloved favorites from films like The Little Mermaid, Moana, and Finding Nemo. The collection aims to amplify the project’s mission of preserving and safeguarding our precious coral reefs.
Through the company’s global skincare brand SEKKISEI, a portion of sales accrued during the campaign period is donated to conservation activities, and educational activities are undertaken to raise awareness and deepen understanding of environmental conservation around the world.
Since 2011, the scope of the project has expanded overseas, with various “SAVE the BLUE” projects operating in eight different countries and regions, taking advantage of the uniqueness of each area, such as coral conservation and tree-planting activities: China, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the USA.
SEKKISEI also actively uses environmentally friendly materials and works with distributors and customers to promote sustainable practices, not only during production and sales, but also during use and after disposal, by offering a wide selection of refills and making an effort to collect used containers. Switching to refills for everyday skincare products will reduce the amount of plastic by approximately 80% compared to using regular containers.
The collection showcases a range of the brand’s highly sought-after products, including the SEKKISEI Herbal Gel and the Gentle Wash, Pure Conc, and Refining Milk from the SEKKISEI Clear Wellness line, and offer a refill alongside an empty container featuring a Disney character related to the sea.
