What better way to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, than at the Bay Spring Carnival. The reimagined festive playground with its amazing Cherry Blossom Garden flowering with fairy lights and enhanced by illuminated inflatables is a definitely more fun way to usher in the Year of the Rabbit than endless visiting and hong bao giving.

Expect to enjoy Ice Magic: The Great Fantasy On Ice, and over 30 Uncle Ringo carnival rides and games, and delicious food that will leave you hankering for more. The Bay Spring Carnival is slated to be one of the biggest carnivals during Lunar New Year, and will be open daily from January 13 to January 29, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on weekends.

You can set your inner child free, and play to your heart’s content at the carnival on Chinese New Year’s Eve, Days 1 and 2 (Chu-yi and Chu-er), when it’s open from 1 PM to 1 AM, so don’t miss out!

Cherry Blossom Garden

Symbolising the renewal of life, immerse yourself in the refreshed beauty of the carnival wonderland as the cherry blossom garden provides the perfect picturesque setting for visitors to capture their memories and appreciate the beauty of nature. A white carousel is also strategically located in the garden, adding its own rustic charm to the vibrant space. As the night falls, get ready to be swept off your feet as you witness the magical light-up of the garden every evening.

Go Crazy At The Carnival

Thrill seekers will be overjoyed with the carnival’s latest addition of the Meteorite — Uncle Ringo’s signature ride that will satisfy most adrenaline junkies. While you get your kicks, you can leave the kiddies to enjoy the three life-sized inflatable play-lands on the festive grounds, and following the successful collaboration with Prime Ape Planet on an NFT-inspired inflatable playground, Uncle Ringo has even added a new Prime Kong Planet inflatable to their repertoire, so let the little-ones spend their boundless energy at the inflatables as you enjoy some much needed me-time getting whirled around.

Food And Retail

There’s no way you can leave a carnival without indulging yourself in mouthwatering festive treats! Among the six curated food vendors at Bay Spring Carnival, seafood enthusiasts will be ecstatic to find their seafood fix at Kin Hoi’s booth! From their signature spicy chilli half- shelled cockles to gong gong and tiger clams, the fresh seafood tossed in their uniquely blended spices will leave you salivating for more.

Besides Kin Hoi, Karubi also whipped up a storm of scrumptious donburis, with the crowds’ favourite being the Wagyu Beef Bowl. Filled with generous portions of perfectly flame-grilled Wagyu beef cuts, top off your donburi with a creamy truffle sauce or an umami-rich mentaiko sauce that will enhance the flavour of the fatty, premium beef cuts.
