When I first received the new BioCair BC-65™ solution and diffuser to trial for the magazine’s Tried & Tested section, I was sceptical. I mean was this really something a normal human child-free household really needed? Well, here’s what happened.
BioCair, recently developed the BC-65™ solution, which is formulated to be a non-toxic, alcohol-free, and child-safe solution that can be used to kill bacteria and germs within 60-seconds of contact. When the BC-65™ solution is used with the BioCair air disinfection machine, the machine converts the solution into a dry-mist that eliminates 99.999% of airborne and surface pathogens (like Bacterial Endospores, fungi, and Gram-Positive Bacteria) within the enclosed area.
BioCairʼs air disinfection machines have been designed to be used exclusively with their air purifying solution to combat airborne pathogens (so no using it for your essential oils or room scents). The air disinfection machine quickly fills up the room with the dry-mist that is lightweight enough to stay suspended in the air to kill 99.999% of airborne bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
Simply running the machine for an hour a day in your bedroom, study or living room, is said to disinfect the area thoroughly.
There Are Two Different Machine Models And Solutions To Choose From
This product is available in two different models – the Classic 200 machine which is suitable for homes and rooms up to 35 sqm, with a tank capacity of 2.6L, and the Classic 250 machine (which I have) that is suitable for homes and rooms up to 65sqm with a tank capacity of 3.6L.
There are two types of disinfectant solutions. I received the BioActive Anti-HFMD Air Purifying Solution, 1 Litre $33.80, but purchased two packets of the Disinfectant Air Purifying Solution, 1 Litre $31.80 to test out.

Final Thoughts
Let me just say that after my first night of using the BC-65™ solution with the BioCair air disinfection machine, I woke up the next morning and ordered two 1-litre packets of the disinfectant solution. Since getting it, I wake up coughing less often in the night (I have a sensitive nose and throat which are triggered by literally anything, causing me to wake up throughout the night sounding, and feeling like I am literally coughing my lungs out). If that’s not proof enough that it’s working, I’m not sure what is.
I personally think that every childcare centre should have at least one diffuser on their premises, to keep HFMD and other such contagions at bay, although to be fair, children do get stronger (learned immunity) by being exposed to germs, but preventing constant, never ending infections surely is a good thing?
Also, if you have any elderly, family members with chronic illnesses, several children, or someone (like me) who isn’t too fond of germs and is allergic to literally everything, this is a must-have. I run it in my bedroom for an hour before we turn in for the night, and put it on a four hour timer, so it keeps whatever is triggering my allergic reactions at bay.
