There is nothing worse than a musty smelling home, and with our humid weather, it’s really easy for even the cleanest apartment to start smelling musty and damp. I have tried air fresheners, diffusers and candles in my little apartment, and while they all work to some extent, they cannot freshen every part of the home.

So when I was introduced to Laundrin, I was excited, but also a bit skeptical. Could this premium Japanese home-care and lifestyle brand that takes its inspiration from designer scents really make my home smell amazing?

If you are new to the brand, Laundrin has laundry detergents, softeners, fabric refreshers, car fragrances and air fresheners, that are environmentally-safe, and made with natural and organic extracts from thyme and sage, and are even safe for babies and those with sensitive skin.

Depending on your preference, you can choose from four scent options. I chose to go with the Classic Floral Series, which happens to be their signature scent, and smells absolutely amazing.

Classic Fiore Series – Sweet Floral Scent has wonderfully feminine notes of juicy lychee laced with soothing floral and woody accords.

No. 7 Series – Fresh Ocean Breeze is an aquatic scent of relaxing floral and green notes that calms and soothes frazzled nerves.

Classic Floral Series (Laundrin’s Signature Fragrance)is an elegant and dreamy scent of delicate blooms with a hint of mellow fruit.

Fresh Mojito Series – Summer Holiday Scent is a bright, fizzy scent inspired by a seaside vacation.

Each scent series carries the following products:

Since using their laundry detergent and softener, my clothes and bed linen smell so good. This is not your usual detergent scent though, it’s more like an expensive perfume, and the scent lasts even while you wear your clothes. I sprayed my curtains, cushions and sofa with the fabric refresher and O.M.G my whole apartment smelled so good!

So does Laundrin work to keep your space smelling fabulous, I do think so. Unlike with an air freshener or candle which only scents a particular area for a while, with Laundrin, I can spray items like my sofa, rug and curtains that I can’t launder so often to freshen them, as well the room or area they are in. My clothes and bedlinen also smell perfumed for days after laundering, and all in all, I love the scent option I selected.
