I never leave home without painting my nails. I find this simple act of grooming, whether performed at the salon or at home, is an important part of my self-care routine. While I tend to gravitate towards either pinkish/beige nudes or vampish red shades, I have never had the opportunity to actually create my own custom shade, until now.

I am uncompromising when it comes to nail varnish. To me, a good nail polish has to have two things. It should have a good brush, making self application a breeze, as inferior brushes can leave brush marks and streaks, and nothing spoils a manicure more than a streaky finish. The second thing I look for is the formulation, how pigmented it is, and if it applies smoothly.

A Cruelty-Free And Vegan Formulation That Actually Looks Great

I love the fact that the nail polish range which is made to order, is scent-free, 100% vegan, cruelty-free, 10-free (ie- created without ten of the most common chemicals found in nail polishes such as toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, parabens, animal by-products, and fragrance), is halal and also safe for pregnant mothers and children.

How Much Would A Custom Shade Cost?

You can create your own unique shade from a spectrum of colours via the brand’s colour wheel. A 10ml bottle is priced at $30, and if you can’t decide on the colour you want, you can simply pick from their existing colour palette.

This new nail polish line is easy to apply and can be easily peeled off, making this a better choice for those of us with natural nails. The custom nail colours currently come in a crème finish at the moment, but are highly pigmented, and have been created to require only a single coat for complete opacity.

White Pyramid will be releasing festive bundle sets soon, where you can create five nail colours for $135.00 (U.P $150.00).

In an upcoming collaboration with Burberry, the brand will be dropping three exclusive shades, unique to the iconic British fashion boutique, with each priced at $250.00.
