Singapore-based global design studio XM has launched its first release of Godzilla statue collectibles – four Godzilla creations from the iconic Japanese franchise created by TOHO Co., Ltd that will fulfil every movie fan and collectors’ dream.

The Godzilla line is conceptualised and interpreted by XM Studios, together with acclaimed illustrator and sculptor Tanaka Kenichi, who is the 2D and 3D artist for this first XM release.

The release was first revealed at New York Comic-Con 2021 in October, where it garnered praise for the accuracy and detailing of the designs. XM’s interpretation of this release stays true to the aesthetic and essence behind the original Japanese films, where buildings were sculpted intentionally to resemble the actual movie set, and Godzilla poses were recreated based on the concept of suitmation.

Masterfully sculpted and individually hand-painted based on the different incarnations of Godzilla in the movies and standing at an unprecedented height of 60cm, the Godzilla release include:

Godzilla 2001 bust (from Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack movie, Millennium era),

Shin Godzilla bust (from Shin Godzilla 2016, Reiwa era), and

Godzilla vs Space Godzilla (from the Godzilla vs Space Godzilla 1994, Heisei era), available as a pair or standalone pieces.

With the new collection, fans can look forward to adding these impressive statues and bringing the epic rivalry of monsters right to their homes.

As pop-culture fans ourselves, we are excited to expand our global licenses to bring our fans the world’s best collectible luxury art based on iconic intellectual properties. Movie aficionados and fans of Godzilla will be instantly drawn to the craftsmanship, authenticity, and the visual storytelling of these statues” – Ben Ang, CEO and co-founder of XM.
