Tourism New Zealand has just recently kicked off its project of building a ‘Forest of Hope’, where anyone in the world can contribute by making a $10 NZD ($9.40 SGD) donation per tree.

To take part, simply visit the official website and share your disappointments from 2020 – whether it is cancellations, postponements, and missed weddings, graduations, birthdays, and celebrations – and Tourism New Zealand will help turn it into hope by planting a native tree.

With the season of giving coming up, this is the perfect present to give back to nature, to yourself or loved one. When New Zealand’s borders are once again open and visitors are welcomed, those who took part can visit the tree that they helped grow, planted in either Northland or Queenstown.
