Yogafest World Edition 2020 is scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of August, from 9am to 9pm at the Urban Park @ Guoco Tower.
The second edition of Yogafest World Edition promises to be every yogi’s playground with mass yoga to specialty classes by top international instructors at the Main #WEYoga Stage, an AcroYoga Village featuring renowned personalities for partner movement and play, and more yoga forms to discover like Bhakti and Calisthenics Flow on the Explore Stage happening all day for all levels.
New this year is the Acro Village which sets Yogafest World Edition 2020 apart from other yoga festivals. It is the first in Singapore to offer an exclusive space and programme for Acro yogis to move, play and connect. As a rising trend in Asia and with a growing community in Singapore, fans of AcroYoga will be delighted to experience a combination of acrobatics, yoga and healing arts for two full days with world iconic teachers.
The highly anticipated line-up for the Main Stage this year includes Hiro Landazuri (@actionhiro) from Los Angeles, US, who left a career in medicine to teach yoga. Experience Hiro’s signature 75-mins Functional Flow on Day 1.
Another yoga sensation to make her inaugural Singapore appearance is Australian Fee Zard (@life_of_fee). An elite gymnast in her childhood and dancer in her teens, Fee found yoga in her early twenties and was drawn to deepen her practice. Connect with Fee at her 75-mins Core class on Day 1 and her Inversions session on Day 2 at the #WEYoga Stage.
Some of the other regional and local yoga celebrities on the Main Stage will include Devesh Bhargav (@alignwithdevesh), a yoga alignment expert all the way from India sharing his transformative spiritual experiences through his simple way of teaching, Victor Chau (@victorchauyoga), a highly sought after yoga teacher and mentor from Asia to Europe making a return to Yogafest from Hong Kong, Chris Walker (@maninsearchformeaning), a London native now based in Bali who overcame his insecurities and discovered his sense of self through yoga which he now teaches to help students find their own personal ‘union’, and local entrepreneurial yogi Jasmine Chong (@jasminechong___) the founder and owner of Lab Studios who specialises in empowering sequences for her Yoga, Barre and YoBarre classes.
