With over 30 outlets island-wide and still growing, popular local homegrown food and beverage chain Cedele has just re-launched their Wheelock Place outlet with a whole new look and vegan menu!
From its bakery cafés and kitchens to its all-day dining restaurants, Cedele believes in preparing pure purposeful food and providing nutritionally dense alternatives in a warm and welcoming environment. The relaunch of its popular all-day dining outlet (full menu, full service throughout the day) at Wheelock Place, with a newer façade and greener menu is testament to its continued care and commitment to its customers.

A Newer, Greener And Better Cedele At Wheelock Place
Now over 16-years-old, the inspiration to remodel Cedele at Wheelock Place was to create a separate retail and dining experience for customers to step into. The retail section is akin to a slice of the Cedele Marketplace online but physically stocked with quality products like superfoods from local partners and its in-house brand, including healthier ingredients used in the breads, cakes and foods.

Cedele has opened its space to share and showcase fellow Singaporean brands who are aligned in the values of honest food and guided by the principles of clean eating. This drive to support local also translates to greater savings for both partners and customers.

The brightly lit frontage also prominently presents shelves lined with its famous handcrafted pastries, homebaked cakes and signature fat-free breads to-go.
A festive display now adorned with Christmas merchandise stands visibly at the entrance but will change seasonally or during special events in collaboration with partners. The renovated premises draw a clear distinction between shopping and eating at the restaurant.

The dining section now spots a long counter at the cashier and a side bar well stocked with labels from nonalcoholic sparkling wine to organic gluten-free craft beer and natural organic wine, to enhance the customer experience and engage interaction. More plants have been added along the floor to ceiling windows where diners have a wide bird’s eye view of Orchard Road. The extra green surroundings and abundant sunshine pouring through the corner glass panels throw Cedele in a new light.

Another new feature is a communal high table to build a community of like-minded individuals drawn by a common chord to eat and live healthy. With the trend of a sharing economy, the communal dining concept was created to help draw people out of their shell. Cedele believes that besides its food, the environment in which its customers are immersed in contributes to the full dining experience.
