Milani Cosmetics known for their luxury quality makeup products at affordable prices, Pony Effect fronted by celebrated makeup artist Park Hye Min, the Korean brand launches new shades for their best-selling products, extending their already impressive shade range to allow for creating ever-dynamic makeup looks, personifying everything Pony stands for: creativity, transformation and endless possibilities and Utena with a juice bar concept, they offer their range of body scrubs, body salts and clay wash series.
New Store-In-Store (SIS) Concepts
The refreshed Watsons store welcomes SIS Concepts at its cosmetic, skincare and health zones that engage consumers with its wide range of products. With popular cosmetic brands like L’ORÉAL Paris that offers a comprehensive range of cosmetics, from foundations, eye make-up colours to lipsticks, to create and complete any look and Maybelline whose SIS concept this June is their alice+olivia Maybelline collection, the first-ever fashion make-up collaboration from Maybelline, that is exclusively retailing at Watsons Singapore.
Peripera exclusive to Watsons, a sister brand of CLIO Cosmetics, is a make-up brand that brings out the fun-loving, and playful vibe in every girl.
Skincare brands like Dr Wu has developed its first Artificial Intelligence (AI) skin analyzer targeted to help consumers gain a better understanding of their skin. Using facial recognition, the device can help introduce products that are not only suitable for each skin type and condition, but also recommend which products should be included in their skincare routine.
Eau Thermale Avène their SIS concept is designed to make it easy
for consumers to locate their favourite Eau Thermale Avène products, while highlighting the latest products that they may be interested in. Importantly, the SIS features ample space for consumers to interact with the Beauty Advisors. La Roche-Posay the Number-1 Dermatological Skincare Brand Worldwide from France, opens its first-ever SIS in Watsons Singapore. The brand has incorporated an interactive digital acne diagnosis tool, Effaclar spotSCAN, at its storefront to answer the most pressing need of most customers relating to acne-control and solutions.
Masling junkies can now get their fix with Watson’s seven-metre long Mask Bay at the new store. With masks from 22 brands, with the following brands only available exclusively at Watsons: AHC Hydra Soother Mask, Hadabisei 3D Mask, Minon Amino Moist Mask, Peri Pera Mask, Saborino Morning / Night Mask and Utena Premium Puressa Golden Jelly Mask.
You can also find a much wider assortment of quality make-up tools and accessories, including brushes and sponges, are now available at the Real Techniques one-metre long wall at the refreshed store.
In addition, the beauty gadgets collection is now more comprehensive
with the entry of FOREO that also offers a range of cleansing brushes as well as toothbrushes, with the kids’ toothbrush only available at Watsons.
Health concious customers will be happy to know that Blackmores has set up its first SIS concept in Singapore with its range of products displayed in the brand’s signature bottle silhouette and showcases the brand’s natural health heritage at its best.
Over at this store, consumers are able to take the Bone Density Health Check, conducted by Blackmores Health Advisory team. This check uses a unique, patented and proprietary axial transmission technology to measure the speed of ultrasonic waves propagating along the bones, enabling the consultant to advise consumers on any bones-related condition.
As consumers begin to seek more natural and organic options in haircare, the new Watsons is a one-stop store to shop for such products from brands, including Moist Diane, Love Beauty And Planet, Naturals by Watsons, Avalon Organic, Hask, L’oreal Botanical, Lux Bontanifque, OGX and Tsubaki Botanical. Many of these brands also offer products that specifically target hair loss and scalp care needs.
We are loving that as part of its commitment towards sustainability, the new store uses Bagasse, the residue of crushed sugarcane stalks, for its 3D wall panels at the haircare section. This raw material is 100% recyclable, compostable and biodegradable at the end of its life cycle and we sincerely hope that more stores and brands will follow the example that Watsons is setting.
In support of local SMEs, Watsons has exclusively introduced two independent homegrown wellness brands, Botanica Culture and Hush Candle.
Botanica Culture is a homegrown brand founded by two chemists with 25 years of international experience each in the chemical industry. The company specialises in developing and manufacturing products with 100% organic essential oils.
The company has also developed Oral Botanica®, a unique liquid organic toothpaste to replace conventional toothpastes, mouthwashes and breath fresheners in one go. Safe and effective, it helps to clean the teeth, prevent tooth decay, restore healthy gums, and eliminate bad breath and can also be used for mouth ulcers and sensitive teeth.
Hush Candle is a Singapore-based boutique home fragrance studio specialising in all natural, therapeutic grade candles, room sprays, and roll-ons. Each item is handcrafted in small batches using the best ingredients possible, ensuring quality control at every step of the process.
In addition, the Wellness Section has incorporated a new two-metre Sports and Fitness Bay that retails health and support equipment and tools as well as sports nutrition products.

In its 10th year, the Watsons membership card undergoes a refresh with more benefits and privileges in store for members. While the points redemption system remains, members will soon be able to use their points to redeem for services and products from partner merchants.
