Sustainability has often been framed through a lens of beige linens and muted earth tones. However, Frasers Property Singapore is flipping that script this April, proving that “going green” can be just as vibrant, and as pink, as a high-fashion editorial.

The 2D Pink Fashion Academy, currently taking over the L1 Atrium at Tampines 1, serves as the bold centerpiece of the “Green-Coded” initiative. It is a striking visual experiment: a monochromatic, two-dimensional world that looks like it was plucked straight from a sketchbook, yet it is built entirely from eco-friendly cardboard. This immersive installation isn’t just a backdrop for your social media feed; it’s a manifesto on how environmental responsibility and avant-garde design can coexist.

More Than Just a Photo Op

While the surreal 2D aesthetics are a major draw, the heart of the Academy lies in its “upcycled” soul. Visitors are encouraged to move beyond passive consumption and engage with the lifecycle of their clothes.

For a modest spend of $30 at participating FRx stores, shoppers gain access to the photo experience. However, a $50 spend (across two receipts) unlocks the full curriculum, including a suite of hands-on activities designed to give “waste” a second life.

The Curriculum: Craft, Games, and Style

The Academy offers a rotating schedule of activities that bridge the gap between education and entertainment:

Mastering the Art of the Capsule Wardrobe

The highlight for many will be the styling masterclasses led by Eileen Orden, the founder of Vintage Wknd. Known for her expertise in circular fashion, Eileen will be conducting four sessions over the weekend of 25–26 April.

Focusing on pieces from popular labels like Love, Bonito and Playdress, the classes will dive into the nuances of “capsule dressing.” Attendees will learn how to maximise wardrobe longevity and master the art of versatility—ensuring that the most sustainable garment in your closet is the one you already own and know how to wear ten different ways.

In a world of fast fashion, the 2D Pink Fashion Academy is a refreshing reminder that the future of style isn’t just about what we wear, but how we think about what we wear.
