Get ready to breathe, stretch, and sweat at this year’s Glow Festival by Prudential, the anchor event of the Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) Wellness Festival Singapore (WFS). Held at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza and Rain Oculus from 6 July to 21 July, this 16-day event spans 1,900 square metres and is expected to welcome over 100,000 wellness and fitness enthusiasts.
Now in its third year, the Glow Festival has become a major highlight on Singapore’s wellness calendar. Ms Ong Ling Lee, Executive Director of Sports and Wellness at STB, stated, “We are pleased to support Glow Festival as a homegrown wellness event. Glow Festival has grown from strength to strength and for the first time, Glow will be the anchor event of Wellness Festival Singapore.”
Echoing this sentiment, Mr Martin Capstick, Founder of Glow Festival, said, “We are always seeking to raise the bar for Glowgetters who have been an incredible support since our inaugural event in 2019. As the anchor event for this year’s WFS, Glowgetters can gain access to exceptional wellness programmes and a thrilling lineup of immersive experiences. Founded on a mission to inspire festival-goers to live well, Glow Festival by Prudential aims to bring the community together to celebrate all things wellness.”
Wellness Awakening: A Diverse Programme
This year’s festival theme, Wellness Awakening, features lululemon and PURE as curation partners, offering over 70 workouts and wellness workshops. From serene sound therapies and immersive art experiences to invigorating exercises, the activities cater to every aspect of well-being—mind, body, spirit, community, and soul.
As the presenting sponsor, Prudential Singapore has also launched Project Glow Up, a six-week mentorship programme for aspiring wellness professionals, providing opportunities to be mentored by experts in fitness, food and beverage, and retail industries.
Weekends With lululemon
Kick-start your weekends with lululemon’s Get Into Strides with lululemon, a 5-kilometre run around the scenic Marina Bay area, happening at sunrise every weekend during the festival. Limited to 70 participants each morning, these runs will be led by different lululemon ambassadors, including Korean celebrity coach Min-kyu Park on 21 July.
Early bird tickets are available at $54, which include warm-up and cool-down sessions, access to the Recovery Space, a limited edition lululemon x Glow Festival T-shirt, a commemorative medal, breakfast bites, and Wellness Bazaar vouchers.
Celebrity Instructors And Exclusive Classes
International fitness instructors Akin Akman, co-founder of AARMY, and Dr Chelsea Jackson Roberts, a renowned Peloton yoga teacher, will host their acclaimed classes at Glow Festival. Participants can join AARMY Bootcamp, AARMY Cycle, Yoga and Chill, and Soul Flow Yoga sessions.
The Main Studio And Recovery Space
Set against the stunning backdrop of Marina Bay, the Main Studio features a massive high-definition LED screen wall showcasing beautiful vistas, enhancing the workout experience. Participants will also have exclusive access to the Recovery Space, equipped with ice baths, Almora Botanica Face Yoga Bar, and Therabody equipment to aid in muscle recovery.
Complimentary Activities And Zones
Glow Festival offers six zones where fitness, mindfulness, nutrition, and holistic well-being converge. Four zones—The Oracle by Alpha Wave Experience, Virtual Reality sessions, Art Therapy, and The Bliss Room—are complimentary.
The Oracle, a contemporary interpretation of the Dreamachine, uses music, frequency, and light to induce a meditative state. VR sessions offer adrenaline-pumping workouts in captivating virtual environments. Art Therapy provides a creative outlet for participants to co-create a communal tapestry, while The Bliss Room offers short breathwork, meditation, and sound healing sessions.
Culinary Delights And Wellness Bazaar
The Wellness Bazaar by Guardian offers a vibrant atmosphere with health and beauty products, artisanal crafts, and more. Food trucks will serve healthy and nutritious cuisine from partners like Wake The Crew and Mia Tavola, ensuring festival-goers are well-fed with delicious options.
