This festive season, Wisma Atria invites you to experience the magic of Christmas as it transforms into a Spellbinding Aquatic Wonderland. From November 16 to December 25, immerse yourself in a spectacular aquatic realm reminiscent of the iconic Wisma Atria Aquarium of yesteryears.
In collaboration with students from the Faculty of Design at LASALLE College of the Arts, this year’s Christmas installations promise to captivate your senses and evoke wonder in the heart of the city. The Christmas installations, inspired by a fantastical seascape, showcase the artistic excellence of LASALLE College of the Arts students.
Bae Kyungsoo, the winner of the first prize, crafted a design that delves into the cultural and emotional context of the public during the Christmas season. Her creation, drawing inspiration from the Old Wisma Atria Aquarium, features vibrant coral structures and traditional symbols of good fortune. The result is a visually captivating work that brings forth memories of joy, peace, happiness, and love.
Local Art Meets Christmas Pop-Up
Head to the Level 1 Indoor Atrium from November 16 to December 26 for a unique Christmas pop-up curated by AMOS ANANDA. Explore and shop for exclusive limited-edition collectible figurines and merchandise by AMOS AND FRIENDS, collaborating with local artists like LESDOUBLEWOOD, YANG OVO, and SAPIEN TOY STUDIO. The pop-up space will also showcase Christmas-themed decor designed by AMOS ANANDA and the participating artists, promising a visual feast for shoppers.
Live Art Customisation And Musical Performances
On December 9, from 3 pm to 5 pm, seize the opportunity for live art customisation sessions with local artists at the atrium of Wisma Atria. Purchase items at the pop-up, and you could walk away with your very own exclusively hand-painted pouch, mini canvas, or tote bag.
The day also features a live Christmas musical performance by local maestros Axel Brizzy & Band and Eden, ensuring a joyous atmosphere for all.
Charitable Initiatives And Live Christmas Show
For those in a giving spirit, visit the World Wide Fund for Nature (Singapore) Booth at the curated pop-up space by Wisma Atria, adorned with Christmas-themed decor. On December 15 at 7 pm and 8 pm, join Kingdomcity for a live Christmas show and revel in the festive spirit.
