Beijing based artist Wu Qiong, will be holding his first virtual solo exhibition titled, Inside the Creative Space of Wu Qiong on Ode to Art’s Facebook page today at 8pm.
Wu Qiong’s last solo exhibition in Singapore was in 2015 and the artist and Ode to Art had plans to hold another solo exhibition at the end of 2020, but due to the recent global lockdown, they decided to bring the exhibition online and straight into the homes of viewers through Facebook Live.
Here are some things that you can expect during the live virtual solo exhibition:
- A rare glimpse into Wu Qiong’s creative space in Beijing
- The artist will be unveiling 15 new, never-been-seen art pieces including seven paintings and eight sculptures
- A brief demonstration on how to sculpt using Play-Doh and a painting demonstration.
